When I first arrived and made the decision to stay, there was a sense of magic: everything was new, accessible, clean and the sun was always shining. I would see two numbers all the time - 1 and 3. I would say “It’s a sign!” and giggle. It was too frequent to ignore and it is still the case today. Maybe it was fairies saying hello? Hence the fun colors.
