Andrew Marino is a San Diego based artist. He creates drawings and paintings developed as visceral and sometimes narrative interpretations of landscapes and still-life.

TIM NOVARA, Oct 2021.

Stemming from Tim's background in architecture and love of international travel, his artwork seeks to diagram and interpret specific places, buildings, and other elements of the constructed world. Each piece is shaped by how he personally experienced that space, by things such as weather, light, noise, and activity. The pieces are primarily mixed media, comprised of acrylic paint, ink and pencil, image transfers of altered personal photographs, fragments of maps, and pages from antique travel guides.

'Investigation of every day experiences through something I’ve seen, felt, or heard is the spring board for my art so that you may see yourself or dialogue in something familiar even though abstracted. There are many artists I draw from but Thomas Nozkowski has had a most impressive effect on me lately. A longtime love for drawing launches these compositions. Ruthless editing is employed to arrive at a seemingly simple exposition.'

More about Therese:

"How I see it and enough left unsaid so you experience it is the intent of my art.The works are personal, connected to history, and yet current in time and place. The process engages all senses thus media varies. Three decades of nursing and parochial school upbringing eventually lead to my ‘Uniformed’ series. I continue to investigate experiences and work in a series. Hula, Commentary, and Dogs are just a few."

About the artists:

Gigi Woodward

was born in Texas and now resides and works in San Diego. Art has been her love since she first picked up a box of crayons. Her paintings live and breath because of colors and the emotions that they create in the viewer. She has spent many years drawing and painting the figure and now, from staying curious, she finds herself engaged in the art of abstract. Her use of collage, charcoal, pastel and acrylic is applied in layers to enhance each piece.

Kirby Kendrick

Fascinated with multimedia, Kirby Kendrick paints, draws, and creates installations.  Classically trained and a graduate of the New York Studio School, Greenwich Village, New York City, Kendrick now works from her studios in San Diego, CA and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
